1928 Working Boat - Narrow Barge 'George'

George is listed on the National Register of Historic Vessels.

Built in 1928 and worked on the Grand Union Canal (GUC), River Thames and London docks with butty 'Mary'.

The above photos were taken in early August 2007 on the Trent and Mersey above Meaford Locks (lock 34)

George is 71 feet long.
