Boston Manor House, Brentford

Boston Manor House and Boston Manor Park, Brentford, in the London Borough of Hounslow,(Middlesex). MAP

The house and the surrounding 20 acres was purchased by the Brentford Urban District Council which was opened as a public park in 1924. Just a few metres from the Grand Union Canal and the River Brent below Clitheroe's Lock (No.99) over the wooden footbridge Boston Manor House is a Grade I listed Jacobean manor house, set in 20 acres of parkland, it is Hounslow’s only building of the Elizabethan period. There is a car park accessible from Boston Manor Road.

Boston Manor is a great park located in north west Brentford. The park is home to Boston Manor House and this park once belonged to that house before being taken in to public ownership. The park is well maintained and has lots of formal flowers and informal shrubed areas. We can recommend this park if you want a quiet stroll of somewhere to take the family!

The park is free and open to the public every day: 08.00 to dusk

It has a wildflower meadow, modern and fully equipped children's play ground, plus 3 tennis courts, and a basketball court.

Friends of Boston Manor volunteers run a cafeteria 09.00 to 16.00 on Saturday and Sunday.

Recently a Nature Trail has been laid out. The are formal lawns and an ornamental lake with wild fowl.

Car Boot sales are held first Saturday of every month from 09.00 to 13.00 (tele: 07931 539282 or info@fobm.org.uk)

Each year Boston Manor Park hosts the Brentford Festival.

The House is open FREE to the public April until October each year. Opening hours are 14.30 to 17.00 on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
