The Horse Drawn Boats Centre at Llangollen Canal Wharf ia a stones throw from Llangollen Railway Station off the A539, Abbey Road, Langollen - The nearest car parking is in the town as there are no public parking facilities at Llangollen Wharf Horsedrawn Boat Centre and Tea Rooms.
The Llangollen Wharf is privately owned and there is no mooring for visiting boats. There are about 60 BW fully serviced moorings that are free for up to 4 hours and £5 per 24 hours thereafter up to 48 hours max (in high season).
Started in 1884 horse drawn passenger boat trips began along the Llangollen Canal - Today purpose built boats take about 45 minutes to travel from Llangollen Wharf to the Horseshoe Falls along a section of the Llangollen Canal dedicated soley to boats from the Horse Drawn Boat Centre of Llangollen Wharf.
Your opportunity to experience for yourself a quiet and relaxing horse drawn boat trip on this beautiful section of the Llangollen Canal fed by the clear waters of the River Dee from the (man-made) Horseshoe Falls.
Children are welcome to pet the friendly horses.
