Booking clerks wanted
We need a group of at least three people to take bookings for our Santa Specials for all four boats. There will be a single phone number for all boats, using a SKYPE system. We take several thousand calls in three months, so you will be very busy. All bookings have to be carefully logged. Training will be given. Access to a relatively modern computer is essential. If you are interested, please reply to this email.
Supporters’ Group Meeting
The next meeting will be a visit to see Dawn Rose on Wednesday July 8th at the Shireoaks Sports & Social Club, Shireoaks Road, S81 8NA. We will go to Shireoaks Top Lock where Dawn Rose will be moored. From 7.30 p.m., members of the New Dawn building team will show everyone around, on, over and in the boat. Afterwards we will repair to the S&SC for some light refreshment.
Not much this month – see the attached. If you see any interesting or unusual wildlife anywhere along the canal, please reply to this email with details of what, when and where. If you could supply a photo, it would be even better. I will then put it in the next E-Newsletter.
