We knew we wanted ports in the bathroom and bedroom, plus we wanted a pair of 'D' shaped / half porthole narrowboat windows too. We had visited a couple of boat shows and seen a few companies that produce bespoke narrowboat windows. During one of these visits we found Worcester Marine Windows Ltd, who's motto is 'A company committed to your satisfaction' to be the most flexible and at a good price too. We particularly liked their 'S' Type WindowsWe visited the workshop of Worcester Marine Windows and saw that have brought together people with many years of experience in the narrowboat window business, ensuring that they give you the best possible service. We were impressed with the quality of their products - made from high quality components, fully safety compliant and fully guaranteed. Worcester Marine Windows offered us a full design and manufacturing facility for our narrowboat windows, able to produce any shape, type and size of window which you may require, all constructed using high quality products and components and all units comply with full safety regulations and come with a 12 months guarantee against leaks and failure. The 'S' Type narrowboat windows and matching portholes, which we settled on have modern styling and fast simple fitting technique a different narrowboat window alternative. We liked the unique (patented) locking catch and support system and the quick and easy fitting. There are no external screw heads showing and no holes apart from the small air gap giving the windows extremely clean looking lines. When we fitted our new 'S' Type narrowboat windows we found the easy clamp-in operation could be done by one person. There is the facility to carry out a quick exchange of glass for light but
effective aluminium security blanks (we use glaziers vacuum grips to remove
the glass). Our blanks are individually decorated to fit the boat's livery. Update - We bought two secondary (double) glazing units early last autumn for the saloon 'S' Type windows. The secondary glazing units were really easy to fit and find they really do keep out the cold! Find out visit the Worcester Marine Windows WEBSITE.
