The Pride of York is currently moored at Great Haywood, Staffordshire on the Trent and Mersey Canal close to Haywood Junction with the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal on the Four Counties Cruising Ring and close to the Cheshire Cruising Ring and more.

Briefly: The Pride of York is a 60ft Semi-Traditional Narrowboat built to the highest specifications. It has been described as the finest boat of its type by professionals in the boating world. The boat is owned under a private shared ownership scheme of six who each have over 8 weeks cruising throughout the year. This truly exceptional boat has been fitted out by York cabinet maker David Clarke. The boat was launched on 4th November at Sowerby Bridge 2008. As one of very few boats to be associated with the city of York, we were delighted when City of York Council gave their approval for the City of York Crest to be used with the name The Pride of York. The light and airy interior is fitted out in White Ash plywood with spectacular blue detail lines and solid White Ash mouldings (no mdf on this boat). White Ash tongue and groove ceiling. Two Houdini hatches provide additional light and ventilation.
