A Boating Holiday on Norfolk Broads

Norfolk Broads Boating Holiday and Boat Hire

A couple of typical days of a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads.

Cruising - Explore the Norfolk countryside, checking out the windmills under clear blue skies. Visit a local craft and gift shop and choose a souvenir or two to remind you of these halcyon days or just picnic on the sun deck.

GPR Cruiser

You can call in at the quaint local museum jam packed with local artefacts and information. Sit in the sun and read the latest best seller for an hour or so.

Moor up close to a waterside pub – enjoy a pleasant evening meal and a quiet walk in the country lane eventually wandering back to the cruiser and pop the corks on a couple of bottles of your favourite red! This could be one day of a boating holiday on Norfolk Broads.

Early breakfast sat in the warm sun. Cruise for an hour or so until you find that likely spot to catch that specimen perch. Fishing for an hour or so, catching a few nice fish. After returning them to the water – cruise for half an hour and spot a riverside tea shop – call in for a refreshing Earl Grey Tea and a buttered scone (jam & cream! naughty but nice) and buy some fresh crusty bread from the bakery next door. Cruise slowly for another hour watching the yachtsmen turn their craft on a sixpence.

Lunch time - time to break into that crusty loaf with a pork pie and some cheese and finish off that bottle of wine from the night before. Doze for an hour after lunch – and another hour on the book. Must do some serious cruising now. Cruise for a couple of hours until you smell fish and chips cooking somewhere – follow your nose and dinner is in the bag! This could be an end of a blissful day on a boating holiday on Norfolk Broads.
