NB "Elk" - Historic Narrowboats

Narrowboat Elk

Elk is registered with British Waterways

Historic narrowboat 'Elk' in the livery of Fellows, Morton & Clayton an original motorised boat built by Yarwoods in March 1926 with an iron hull.

Worked on the BCN from new with FM&C and later out of Northwich with BWB. Sold by BWB in 1970s and now registered as a pleasure craft.

Now converted with a wooden top to liveaboard and continuously cruising.

We saw Narrowboat Elk on - 9th October 2012 at Gailey on Staffs and Worcs Canal and she was in fair order.
