To celebrate her 70th birthday, Wendy Wilson walked 102 miles from Braunston, Northamptonshire to Little Venice, London.

To celebrate her 70th birthday, Wendy Wilson walked 102 miles from Braunston, Northamptonshire to Little Venice, London.

To celebrate her 70th birthday, Wendy Wilson walked 102 miles from Braunston, Northamptonshire to Little Venice, London.Wendy Wilson walked the Grand Union Canal towpath to raise funds for two charities, she was joined in the adventure by Keren Andrews and Freda Jones.

Averaging around 15 miles per day Wendy and her friends completed the walk in good health - but decided not to walk home!

The two charities; Trust in Managing Sarcoma and Autism Concern.

T.I.M.S. charity helps Sarcoma sufferers and their families. Clear cell sarcoma is a very aggressive form of cancer which only attacks young people.

Autism Concern, provides high quality services to the Autistic Community in Northamptonshire and beyond.
