Bywater Hotelboat Cruises - Chirk Aquaduct What better way to experience and explore the varied landscape of the inland waterways than by the comfort of a narrowboat hotel.

We can accommodate up to 8 guests on our pair of traditional Narrowboats which have been purpose built and fitted as hotelboats. All our cabins have ensuite facilities and we pride ourselves on providing our guests with the comfort and service one would expect in a well run family hotel.. except the view from the cabin windows change each morning.

You don’t have to do anything. We have experienced crew who can work the boats through the locks and guests are welcome to help as little or as much as they like. Some may choose to sit Bywater Hotelboat Cruises - Happy Guests and watch the world travel slowly by through the large viewing windows we have fitted in each boats lounge or up front in the welldeck. Other guests may walk leisurely along side the boats on the towpath enjoying the scenery and perhaps walking off a little of the delicious food which is served on board throughout the cruise. We take great care t ensure the quality of our food, providing a varied menu throughout the holiday. We source all our meat at local butchers on our route, grow our own herbs and all the food served is freshly prepared on board by the crew. We can be very flexible to any dietary needs, including a range of allergies or even strong dislikes.
