British Waterways London Angling Permit
This is not an April Fool!
Since 1st April 2008 You will be required to
have a British Waterways London Angling Permit to fish the following waters:
1. Grand Union Canal Main Line from Brentford Lock to Bridge 200 in Hayes.
2. Grand Union Canal Paddington Arm (with the exception from Ladbroke Grove
Bridge to Scrubs Lane.
3. The Hertford Union Canal.
4. The Limehouse Cut.
5.
The Regent's Canal.
The BWL Angling Permit will cost adults £20.00; juniors, pensioners
over 65 and registered disabled £10.00 (2008)

The permit will be issued for up to one year to the next 1st April
If you fish any of the above waters without the permit you are liable to prosecution.
The permit must be carried at all times whilst fishing and presented to any
BW personnel upon request.
