(RYA) Inland Waterways Helmsman Certificate (IWHC) will give that confidence
and make any holiday whether on your own or a hired boat much more pleasurable.
The certificate is also the first step for the experienced boater to achieve
the International Certificate of Competence (ICC), an essential requirement for
people wishing to boat on European waterways. ONE DAY - An intensive one-day course for the IWHC. The course covers all aspects of canal and river navigation. TWO DAY - A more relaxed course for the IWHC staying on board overnight. THREE DAY - Particularly popular with both novice and experienced boaters. A relaxed course for the IWHC staying on board whereby after successful completion there is plenty of time to practice the skills achieved while enjoying a short break holiday and pleasure of the waterways. WHAT DOES THE IWHC COVER? DECK WORK incorporating rope work, knots and mooring. CEVNI (European Inland Waterway Regulations) Boatmaster Licence Courses FOR UP TO DATE COSTS see the website.
